Leonie’s research focuses on frontier AI regulation and risk management, in particular the EU AI Act and risk thresholds. Before joining GovAI, she worked for the German government. Leonie is also a Research Affiliate at the Institute for Law and AI (LawAI) and holds a Master of Laws (LL.M.) from King’s College London and the German First Law Examination (1. Staatsexamen) from her studies at Humboldt-University Berlin.
