Nicole co-runs GovAI’s seasonal fellowships, supporting Research and Applied Track fellows and helping develop the next generation of AI governance researchers and practitioners.Previously, she was a Pivotal Research Fellow, where she researched Chinese AI governance and catastrophic risk. Her work has also examined the governance, safety, and societal implications of advanced AI systems, with a particular focus on AI infrastructure, child and youth safety, and governance frameworks for increasingly autonomous AI agents. She holds a BA in International Relations from Stanford University and an MBA and MPP from Yale University.
